Help Support Roshi’s Care and Peaceful Transition
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
Kendall, here. I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart about my dog, Roshi. He’s been my best friend for over 10 years — always quiet, stoic, and full of love. About a month ago, Roshi started showing signs of pain in his back legs and small anxiety attacks. After multiple vet visits, tests, and treatments, we discovered that he has osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in his spine. The news was devastating, especially since surgery would be high-risk due to his age and the location of the tumor.

Osteosarcoma is aggressive, and the tumor has been growing rapidly since early February. It’s the reason for the back leg pain and pressure he’s been feeling. Because of the nature of the cancer, surgery isn’t a viable option — it would likely result in paralysis or severe disruption to his quality of life. After consulting with my girlfriend, the specialist, and my family, I’ve made the difficult decision to focus on giving Roshi the most comfortable and peaceful days possible.
Right now, Roshi is on a strong pain management plan, but the medical costs — including an MRI ($2,500+), multiple vet visits, medications, and the anticipated end-of-life care — have added up quickly. Unfortunately, I don’t have pet insurance, which makes this financial burden even harder to manage.
Despite the heartbreak, I’ve found peace in knowing Roshi has had a happy, full life by my side. Now, I just want to give him the dignified and peaceful farewell he deserves. I'm asking for any support you can provide — whether that’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this with others. Anything you can contribute will help cover his medical expenses and end-of-life services, including cremation, so that I can honor his memory properly.
Roshi has been more than just a pet — he’s been family. He’s given me so much comfort and joy over the years, and now I just want to make sure his last days are filled with love and peace. I know that when the time comes, Roshi will have a T-bone steak waiting for him at the pearly gates — he deserves nothing less. They say all dogs go to heaven — and I have no doubt Roshi will be heading there, probably wagging his tail and making friends along the way.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support,
