Subject: Roscoe surgery

On May 21st, Roscoe had a consult appointment with Dr. Lewis at Veterinary Surgical Solutions confirming a ligament tear and a need for a TPLO repair to his back leg.

Roscoe has had this tear since the night of the fire but due to the severity of his burns, we couldn’t move forward with any treatment until they were fully healed.

Roscoe was one of 3 dogs saved from a house fire after their owner, Eric, had tragically died.

Roscoe suffered the most injuries, including smoke inhalation, second degree burns and as we soon learned, a torn ligament in his back leg. The emergency vet first noticed the tear after an examination the second night of his ER stay.

We are starting this fundraiser to raise $3240 (originally $3800) specifically for Roscoe’s surgical care. The funds are to cover the cost of surgery and fees. Anything above over will go towards any additional medical support he may need during his 6-week recovery period.
