Our dear friend and talented troubadour Ron Rost suffered a stroke on Sunday, December 21st. Thankfully, Ron is on the road to recovery and out of the hospital, staying with his sister, Carla.

Ron is an important part of our songwriting community here in Texas, and we hope you'll join us in supporting him in this time of need.

Ron does not have health insurance and will be facing steep medical bills. The more urgent need, however, is to get him started in a rehab program right away so that he can continue to recover.

We are setting up this Go Fund Me to (1) get Ron into rehab as soon as possible and (2) help cover his existing and future medical bills. Your support is greatly appreciated, and every donation will go directly to Ron to help him with his medical needs.

We talked to Ron on the phone earlier today, and he's in good spirits. He's having a hard time reading and typing on his phone, so if you have his number, you might give him a ring.

The songwriter community is working on benefit shows to support Ron as well - please stay tuned and I will update everyone on those efforts.
