If you’re reading this, it’s likely because Brooke and Roland have brought you much love and friendship, or have touched your life in some special way. Thank you for taking the time to visit
and read this page!

As many of you know, Brooke and Roland celebrated the happiest day of their lives on May 24, 2025. The newlyweds set off to Hawaii for a week of marital bliss, only to come home to a stark reality.

The first Monday after their return, Roland began experiencing stabbing chest pain and discomfort. His symptoms included fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and elevated blood pressure.

With days of worsening symptoms, Brooke took Roland to an urgent care facility where they advised him to go to the ER. Due to out-of-network Virginia-based insurance, the couple was reluctant to assume this was a medical emergency.

As days progressed with heightened symptoms, there was no choice left. The following Monday, Roland was admitted to the ER. Blood work was done, and showed high reason for concern. Doctors found a one-inch by one-inch mass in his esophagus, resulting in a scheduled endoscopy. Unfortunately, this is an expensive procedure that is not covered by his insurance.

With medical bills piling up, and Virginia-based insurance that would not cover anything but emergencies in the state of Idaho, Brooke and Roland were forced to fly to Virginia to receive medical treatment. The cost of travel has only added to their financial burdens. Brooke and Roland are still currently awaiting a diagnosis with hopes for a clear path forward.

Roland is a healthy and fit 27-year-old man, with no prior medical concerns. This has all come as a shock to the young couple that have barely enjoyed one week of marriage prior to being
plunged into stress, uncertainty, and financial struggle.

The emotional and financial toll this has taken on them has been very heavy. Brooke and Roland have had to pay for everything out of pocket, immediately after paying for their wedding and honeymoon expenses. And, to make matters worse, Roland has an uncertain income due to taking time off for his illness and an employment transition.

Your support – whether financial, spiritual, or emotional means the world to them right now. Please consider donating to help ease the hardship of medical costs so they can focus on getting Roland healthy.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity, your encouragement means the world to the Beights.
