Many of you have asked how to support the Young family during this unbelievably challenging time. 


Roger is a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all of us.  He is a loving husband to his wife, Kris, and devoted father to his two children. Roger is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet, who always goes out of his way to help others first and it is our time to give back.


A few months ago, Roger was diagnosed with Metastatic Stage 4 Melanoma. A Cancer which spreads to lymph nodes that are farther away and/or to other places in the skin or parts of the body (metastatic melanoma).  He has been relentlessly fighting this horrible disease, but unfortunately the cancer has become resistant to the chemotherapy. His family has consulted with some of the top doctors in our area and they are  recommending a treatment that will better help and hopefully ease some of his symptoms. One which may include surgery.


We all are aware that Roger owns a small business BKS Signs in Carlisle and has been successful in his career.  He has also been a coach and mentor to Big Spring and Carlisle School Districts track teams. 

With the degree of treatment he is facing as well as ease the family’s financial burdens in the months to come, especially with all the medical bills due to not being fully able to work, we are asking for your support.  He has given unselfishly to so many and he now needs our help.
