My name is Deb and I’m writing this to help raise funds for a beautiful friend to many of us, Rochelle.

About 2 months ago Rochelle had been feeling extremely unwell with chest pain and shortness of breath. She went to a GP who sent her to hospital via ambulance due to how unwell she was. This is where she spent the next 4 weeks, and after multiple invasive and painful tests was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of Leukemia, T-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

(T-ALL) as well as having a large mass in her chest and evidence of cancer in some lymph nodes. Chemo treatment began immediately and the last 2 months have seen Rochelle having to deal with infections, blood transfusions, fevers, low blood counts as well as the physical and emotional toll the chemo is having on her body. Not to mention the shock of receiving such devastating news.

Rochelle is a single mum to a beautiful 16 year old daughter Eliza and to her angel son Jarvis. Jarvis sadly passed away in 2011 at the age of 7 after a gruelling battle with Neuroblastoma. Jarvis was an absolute delight and he was the most courageous and inspirational boy.

This has been an extremely difficult time for Rochelle and her beautiful daughter Eliza, as well as for her mum and brother.

Rochelle had been working as a nanny and a carer and gives of herself over and above of what is expected. She is selfless and is loved and adored by so many people.

Rochelle needs our help financially at this time as there is no income coming in. It’s my hearts desire to see her not lose her home and to be able to pay her mortgage, ongoing bills, expenses for Eliza and to give her and Eliza some stability thru such a difficult time.

At this stage treatment will be ongoing for 8+ months provided her body responds as it should.
