Many of you know that 4yr old Rocco was born with spina bifida and some of the challenges faced daily by his parents, Rachelle and Adam.
Last week, Rocco was admitted back into Sydney Childrens Hospital, having been diagnosed with epilepsy and no sooner had they settled home on the Central Coast, Rocco has to be readmitted next wednesday 27th Feb 2019 for major spinal surgery. This is to remove excess spinal fluid that has built up due to his condition. This has added extra strain on the family since they hoped they’d have time to be prepared financially for this treatment originally scheduled in 6 months time.
This means Adam is going back/forth to their family home in Terrigal, and tending to their other kids, time off work to be with Rocco, while Rachelle is by Rocco's side 24/7.
If you've ever been, or had a loved one in hospital, you know the strain it puts, on body, mind and wallet.
This fundraiser is intended to give the Coleman family some slack and make the financial hardship of medical treatment and time away from family, a little easier so they can give Rocco as much of their attention as possible, and 1 thing less to think about.
Any donations are appreciated to help with his treatment and medical expenses so this brave 4yr old kid and his parents can get home soon and healthy.
