My name is Celena Burnett and I am raising money to help my dear friends, Robin and Robert Dreher.

Robert was diagnosed in February with tonsillar cancer that had metastasized to his lungs. Since then he has completed chemotherapy, along with many series of tests and scans. The results showed that chemotherapy and immunotherapy had some beneficial effects on the bronchial areas of the lungs, but unfortunately, cancer had metastasized to the kidney, liver, L3/L4 vertebrae, and femur. In August, Robert tried one last go at chemo treatment. Sadly, his final chemotherapy session caused severe side effects, preventing further treatment. Doctors then estimated he had three to six months. Subsequent scans revealed that the disease had advanced to his sacrum, hip joints, and duodenum. He is now under Hospice care.

After a very long and hard year, Robin made the decision in October to stop working to spend more time with Robert. Since the diagnosis, they have done several things on Robert's life bucket list. Sadly this has drained their money reserves, making medical bills and monthly bills extremely difficult to meet.

These are his big adventures he's had this year:

In August, Robert had his first ever tour of the White House and dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant.

He has always wanted to see the Blue Angles fly, and did so in September in Virginia beach.

Just last month in October they were able to fly out to San Fransisco and Robert got to see the Redwoods for the first time. It was a very emotional and moving experience for them.

This fundraiser is very dear to my heart because Robin and Robert mean the world to me, and to many others. They would never ask for help, so I am doing it for them because I know how much they are truly struggling right now. On top of all this sadness and stress they are also dealing with a huge financial burden- the medical bills alone are staggering. They have always been the ones who would help in any crisis, and they'd give everything that they could, and would do it with true love in their hearts. I want them to know how important and loved they are to so very many of us. I know we all feel that we wish there was something we could do, and feel helpless in that regard, so this is it.

Hopefully this fundraiser will allow them to spend his last days together, making as many beautiful memories as possible and finding joy wherever they can.
