This GoFundMe is for our buddy Robert. Robert is not only a devoted father, loving husband, but he is also the kind of boss and friend who always puts others first. Those who have had the honor of knowing him know that he's the one who shows up when you need help. He is someone who makes you laugh even on your hardest days. If there is one trait that best describes Robert, it is his selflessness, which makes everyone around him feel truly seen, valued, and cared for. His greatest gift has always been the way he has consistently put others first even if he was going through tough times himself, and it's this selflessness that has touched countless lives and made him the heart of his family and community.

Not only is Robert a father and husband, he also created a family with the people he worked with. Robert worked at Filippis for a very long time, which is where he met his wife and life long friends. He is an incredible manager for all of us, and became our family.

Now Robert is facing one of the toughest battles of his life: stage 4 colon cancer. Being the dedicated family man he is, he's always provided stability for his wife and 3 sons. This recently changed due to his cancer making him unable to work.

Insurance can only cover so much and sadly his insurance will cease, adding a substantial toll to his family's expenses and responsibilities. While his spirit is strong, cancer is not just a physical battle. It feeds off of stress, and the financial burden of missing work, medical bills, groceries, and treatment costs weighs heavily on him and his family. Anyone who has gone through difficult times knows how it feels to need a helping hand. No one as selfless and giving as Robert should have to carry this fight alone. He has always been the person who shows up for others in their time of need. Now it's our turn to show up for him with love, support, and whatever help we can offer. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
