Help Support Robbie J

Hello friends and family,

My name is Carly Jacobson, daughter of Robbie Jacobson. AKA Robbie J or “Bad Robbie” to some.

On August 29th my Dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. It is locally advanced, and we are in the process of building my Dad’s strength up to begin chemotherapy. A long healing journey lies ahead for us as we navigate this uncertainty. I created this in hopes that our community can come together at this difficult time and help support my Dad. Anything helps, and if you do not have the means to donate - it absolutely makes his day to have loved ones pop by for a visit.

As many of you know, my Dad is the epitome of kindness, laughter, and loyalty. I can guarantee if you know my Dad, he has brought joy to your day, a smile across your face, or a good belly laugh. His fun-loving and charismatic nature is contagious. He has always taken each opportunity to put his loved ones before himself. And now, this is where I feel we can give back to the man who deserves it. Though this has been a profoundly uncertain and hard time, ever since he has been in the hospital, his room has been consistently filled with echoes of love and laughter from his people, every day. A testament to the incredible man I know my Dad is.

He will have, at minimum and likely longer, an eight week recovery and has not asked for any financial support or assistance whatsoever. He will likely give me a “what for” lecture when he finds out. All the more reason to do so … I think :)

We as his friends & family feel that he could really use some financial help at this time. This will help alleviate any financial burdens so we can focus our full energy on giving him the best care possible. Any funds raised will be used to help cover bills as he is off work, continue looking after his disabled brother, cover any added medical expenses, and to explore alternative holistic healing modalities. Financial stress does not help with physical recovery. Please share to help spread the word and create a ripple effect. And thank you for keeping my Dad in your thoughts.
