Help support RJ through his DBS surgery

Donation protected
Our family is on a challenging journey with RJ, and we need your help. He’s facing a critical surgery that could change his life for the better. Please consider donating and sharing our story with your friends. Every little bit helps!
RJ was born with a rare neurological disorder called Bilateral Perisylvian Polymicrogyria. With it comes many intellectual and physical challenges. He is nonverbal. He is non mobile. He is strictly tube fed because his muscles don't allow him to swallow properly. On top of all that he also has intractable epilepsy. He had his first seizure at 4 months old. We’ve tried every medicine possible. He is now going on 5 years old and DBS surgery is the only other option. This surgery will not only help reduce the number of seizures he has daily but hopefully improve his overall quality of life. It’s been a very hard journey for him and our family. The funds will be used to cover any medical costs, missed wages, and any other expenses during his hospital stay and throughout his recovery. My family and I thank you for your support.
