Hi there! My name is Nate, and I've created this GoFundMe for my boyfriend Rin, because over the past several years he's been on his own and has gone through insane struggles to get to where he is now. As a trans man, his experiences being judged, cast out, and abandoned have made his circumstances extremely difficult. At such an early age, he was rejected and kicked out by his family who made zero effort to truly embrace or support him. He's jumped from home to home in desperate attempts to make ends meet, and even exhausted all of his financial options to try and keep pushing forward. And yet, despite those struggles, he's still managed to keep pushing through and keep a smile on his face because he believes there is something better out there.

And that's why I created this. Unfortunately, Rin's job has made it extremely difficult for him to navigate paying bills and debts that have been piling up. And I know he feels extremely uneasy about asking for help from the internet and random strangers, but I want to try and help give him every fighting chance we can. So even if all you're able to do is share word about this GoFundMe, then believe me when I say it would be so much more than appreciated. Every cent of what gets contributed towards this GoFundMe would help pay for rent, upcoming bills and debts, and medical expenses that support his transition journey. At the moment, our goal is to raise $3,000 so that he can afford upcoming immediate bills and create enough of a financial cushion (for about a month or so) while he continues to seek out another job alongside secondary income. But every kind of help is more than appreciated, and there is nothing I wouldn't do for this boy so I want him to feel supported in the same way others have supported me.
