Memoriam for Riccardo

This fundraiser is to help support Riccardo & Megan Ravanese and their girls. As some of you may already know, Riccardo has been battling illness since late 2023. After experiencing some unusual lymphatic symptoms, Riccardo underwent a procedure at Royal Victoria Hospital in December. Megan and the girls rallied around Riccardo and spent an emotional but hopeful Christmas in hospital together. However, with further testing in the subsequent months, Riccardo was ultimately given his diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in March 2024.

For the last several months, Riccardo has been undergoing intensive inpatient treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital with only a few days spent back home in Barrie with the girls here and there in between treatments. Upcoming treatment goals include a potential bone marrow transplant in late August, followed by another three months recovery in Toronto. Your donations will help to cover transportation and parking costs for Megan and the girls' frequent hospital visits, unexpected medical-related costs, as well as ease some of the pressure the family is experiencing due to income loss.
