My family is making this Gofundme for my youngest brother, Rex. Unfortunately on saturday 3/22, Rex was in an accident where he broke his leg pretty severely. He was rushed to the emergency room in Greeley where he was then med-flighted to Denver to a level 1 trauma center due to the severity and blood loss. After countless surgeries, blood transfusion and being in the trauma ICU fighting to save his leg for a week, they decided that was no longer an option after losing the pulse in his foot. On Friday 3/28 they had to do an above the knee amputation and move him to the multitrauma unit for the next few weeks. This week has felt so long to our family but the road ahead is even longer. As times are extremely tough, we are asking for any possible help with medical bills and a prosthetic as a transfemoral prosthetic ranges up to $75,000.
