Help Support Rene’s Recovery Journey

As many of you know, our dear friend Rene suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke on August 11th. She underwent extensive brain surgery to stop multiple bleeds and was intubated for over two weeks.

In the weeks since, Rene has shown incredible strength and resilience. She’s made significant progress in her recovery — but the road ahead remains uncertain. This type of stroke has severely impacted her motor and cognitive functions. She still requires a feeding tube and constant medical monitoring.

Right now, one of the biggest challenges we’re facing is covering Rene’s health insurance premiums out of pocket, as she’s currently unable to work and has no income. These payments are critical to keeping her care and therapy going — and deadlines are quickly approaching.

While the family is working on more sustainable, long-term solutions, we are asking for help during this urgent moment. Any contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward her medical insurance and recovery-related expenses.
