If you live in our community, chances are Rachelle has touched your life or the life of someone you love. Maybe she rode her Harley with you, talked you off an edge, or cared for you with extra compassion in the emergency room. Rachelle has always been the one to step up for others-whether as a nurse practitioner, mental health

professional, SANE nurse, or family provider.

To me, she has been an angel in the form of my nurse practitioner, friend, and nursing mentor. She's made a difference for so many in their times of need, always giving her all to help others heal.

Now, Rachelle is facing her own battle with cancer while on a travel assignment in Oregon, far from much of her family and friends. She's undergoing both chemotherapy and radiation, and while she's always been the helper, she now finds herself on the other side of the stethoscope.

The costs of treatment, medical bills, and living expenses are mounting as Rachelle is unable to work consistently during this time. Though she is able to work intermittently, the stress of being away from home and the uncertainty of what comes next can feel overwhelming. But with both science and prayer, we know she can come out of this stronger than ever. Your support will help ease her financial burden, allowing her to focus on healing and recovery.
