Help Support Quincy’s Fight for Recovery

Update: QUINCY IS HOME! After 1 night in Kamloops emergency clinic and 3 day in Vancouver at Canada West Critical Care we were one of the lucky ones able to bring home our baby after being in the lake this weekend and drinking a few licks of water...unfortunately some family's weren't as lucky this weekend...after many grueling treatments, scans, medications, thousands of dollars and alot of luck our family is whole again thank you to everyone who kept Quincy in your thoughts and to our village who helped us through every step of the way...Hopefully our beautiful lake can return to healthy and clean soon ...until then please be careful with your pets and families ❤️

Many of you have had the chance to meet Quincy, Michelle and Marvin’s sweet, lovable 5-month-old puppy. Tragically, Quincy is now fighting for his life after being exposed to toxic blue-green algae

after very quick contact with the water.

From Michelle (July 1, 2025):
"On Sunday around noon, Quincy ran into the water and took just a few licks before I could grab him. By 2 PM, he was already showing signs of illness vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, and more. We rushed him to the emergency vet in Kamloops and then down to a specialty clinic in Vancouver, where he's now being treated for cyanobacterial poisoning (blue-green algae). His condition is stable but serious, and more treatment is needed today. This is very real please keep your pets out of the water right now. And please, pray for our baby boy."

Michelle and Marvin are doing everything possible to save Quincy, and the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. The vet bills have already reached over $10,000, and more care is expected.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to help ease the burden and show our love and support for this incredible couple and their brave little pup. Any amount no matter how small makes a difference.
