Help Support Presley’s Top Surgery Journey and Recovery

Hello, my name is Presley and I’m a 25 year old transgender person seeking support/mutual aid and donations for my Top Surgery Fund. The stars have aligned for me to get this gender affirming surgery after ten years of access issues, I have been lucky enough to receive a surgery date. UPDATE: My surgery has moved! The new date will be August 21st! I am in good health and all is well, my surgery was pushed back due to scheduling issues with the surgical team. The silver lining being that I have more time to prepare! My sincerest thanks to those who have taken the time to read about my journey, share my fundraiser and art, and uplift me in so many other ways. I am honored to have received this community support and to feel that I am surrounded by a village.

This surgery would have a lifelong positive impact on my health and wellness, comfortability in my body and joy, for these reasons I am asking for your help. This will be my last year of comprehensive insurance coverage, and it is the first time that my seizures have been manageable enough for me to be eligible for this surgery and capable of recovery. I will have to take a minimum of 6 weeks off of work for my body to heal, it is during this time that I will need the most support.

In order to receive my surgery, I need to travel to Tucson and stay there for 2 of the 6 week recovery, which has added a number of travel and lodging expenses for me and my support team. Additionally I will not be able to walk my two dogs for 6 weeks minimum, and we live in a condo - so a daily dog walker is essential for my safe recovery.
