Help Support Prang Yingprasert's Recovery

We want to start by sharing just how much Prang and the Yingprasert family mean to us.

For nearly 20 years, they have been more than friends — they have been family. Since the days of Thai Oak Park restaurant, Prang and her brother Phai welcomed us with open arms, treating us not just as customers, but as family. Thai Oak Park was a true refuge for many of us, and every visit meant a warm meal, unconditional care, and genuine kindness. P’ Prang’s hospitality and generosity stretched far beyond the restaurant walls. We are forever grateful to her for making our childhoods in Chicago brighter, warmer, and filled with love.

Today, Prang needs our help. Earlier this year, she was rushed to the emergency room and diagnosed with severe liver failure. The situation was critical — she urgently needed a full liver transplant, and her chances of survival were slim. She was placed on the donor list, and all we could do was hope and pray for a miracle. By some extraordinary luck, a matching donor was found just in time. On March 22nd and 24th, Prang underwent two major surgeries. Thanks to the power of community — many of you shared her story, donated blood, and offered prayers — she made it through. We are incredibly thankful for all the support you have already shown.

Currently, Prang continues to recover at Siriraj Hospital in Thailand, but the financial burden from the surgeries, hospital stay, and ongoing care can be overwhelming.
