Meet Pooh (Serenity), a sweet 3-year-old girl who was found stranded on a large property in South Miami, bravely surviving alongside another dog. She came into Miami-Dade Animal Services with bite wounds and an ear infection, but thanks to the care of the shelter, she’s now fully healed and thriving. I’ve had the privilege of fostering Pooh for shelter during Hurricane Milton, and even in just 24 hours, she’s shown what a beautiful soul she is. She’s potty trained, follows commands, sleeps in her own bed and loves giving kisses.
