PLANET X VINTAGE is a online and in-person retail store emphasizing in gender and size inclusivity, with a focus on out-of-this-world 1970s-1990s fashion, new merchandise inspired by pop art and horror movies, and fun & funky accessories.

After a year in our current Belmont location, the opportunity to move into the larger storefront next door came up in September 2022. With this move, we would have the ability to display twice the amount of merchandise, build an actual dressing room, accommodate more customers at a time, and finally start hosting all-age pop up drag performances!

Apart from community aide at the beginning of our business’ start in October 2020, we have been self-funding, putting almost all of our income back into building the business.

While the expansion was something we were looking forward to, and saving up for as much as we could, we did not anticipate the transition to take as long as it did, and had several unplanned expenses.

We are asking for help from our amazing community because we want to be able to secure our future here in Portland as a queer owned and operated business, and fulfill the vision we came up with back in 2020.

Any donated funds will help secure rent and utility costs for the coming month(s), as well as helping our financial security.
