Our beautiful 11 year old niece was recently diagnosed with a high grade glioma (brain tumour) following months of hospital admissions and tests. This has devastated our family, no parents should ever have to hear this news.
The challenges her parents and younger brother now face to support Phoebe-Faith through her treatment at The Christie Hospital has affected everything, work, school, home life.
Phoebe-Faith has been undergoing intensive daily radiotherapy and chemotherapy, alongside numerous other appointments every week. She missed out on her year 6 school trip to Lledr Hall as she was in hospital, and the family summer holiday to Cyprus as she was due to start her treatment. A child should never have to go through this, especially at such an important stage in her life just about to start high school. This diagnosis, along with endless appointments and medication, has overshadowed what should be such an exciting time for Phoebe-Faith and her family.
Despite everything, Phoebe-Faith has continued to show such bravery and strength, and always with a smile on her face. She started high school, but has to leave early each day to attend her radiotherapy sessions at The Christie.
The family’s world has been turned upside down, and we are determined to raise funds to support them during this challenging time, to make things a little easier for them.
If you are able to contribute—whether by organising a sponsored activity, donating prizes for upcoming events, or offering support in any other way—please do get in touch. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference.
We kindly ask that everyone respects the family’s wishes for privacy at this time. They have requested not to be contacted directly, and we appreciate your understanding.
Thank you for your support.
