On Saturday, 9/13/25, my nephew, Peyton, was in a UTV accident while hunting with his friends and family. Peyton was flown to Cooks Children's Hospital in Ft. Worth due to the extent of the trauma to his leg. Peyton has already had multiple surgeries and will have multiple surgeries to come. Amanda (my sister and mother to Peyton) hasn't left Peyton's side. That said, Peyton's parents haven't been able to work. Peyton is expected to be at Cooks for several weeks.
