My Story: Hello all! My name is Amber Bunch and I would greatly appreciate your support!

On Christmas 12/25/22 we almost lost my 6yr old son, Perseus. He developed a rare and aggressive case of Strep A that has led to multiple complications. He was admitted to the ICU in Cincinnati Children's Hospital and has been fighting for his life ever since. Perseus went into septic shock on Christmas after the strep A infection entered his blood stream. His body and organs began to rapidly shut down as the infection spread quickly throughout his body. He developed a bacterial blood clot in his right jugular and the infection made its way into the lining of his skull. He can no longer walk on his own right now, but we are hopeful that will change in the future. He has amazing doctors doing all they can do to get him back home and to his normal self. Unfortunately, this is going to be an extremely long road as we make our way to the recovery finish line. I am pretty much living at

Children's Hospital with him and I have been unable to work at my job at Amazon. I am unsure of when I will be able to go back as of right now. I am asking for help with expenses and getting us by until he is stable enough for me to return to work. We are looking at a minimum of 6-8 weeks before we can leave the hospital. With this type of infection and because of the blood clot, his condition can worsen at any time, so I am unable to leave him alone. Anything you can donate, helps tremendously. No matter the amount. I hate asking for the assistance, but I am in desperate need of help right now. I appreciate you all so much and thank you for supporting Perseus and Family.
