Supporting Paulina's Recovery

Earlier this week, there was an accident when Chef Elio’s wife, Paulina, was helping with the masa mixer. Her hand was caught and she suffered a terrible injury. She underwent hand surgery last night and it went as well as we could hope for but she will need extensive rehab and a second surgery.

 

We could not be more grateful for the care Paulina received from the amazing caregivers, nurses and doctors at Inova Alexandria and Mount Vernon.

 

Paulina is an important member of our Taqueria Picoso family. If you’ve been to the restaurant, you’ve probably seen or met Paulina. We call her tiny and mighty!
