Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Paul Lajoie and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a humble request for help.

My beloved mother, Paulette Lajoie has passed away peacefully at the age of 78 after facing a difficult battle with Stage 4 liver cancer over the last several months.

As her disease progressed, I wanted to make sure to be by her side as much as I could and I had to put work on hold most days to care for her with her hospice team. I couldn’t let her go through this alone as we do not have any other family in town that was able to be at hospice regularly to comfort her as her disease progressed. I am reaching out for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards covering the costs of my mother's care and funeral expenses.

Paulette Lajoie was a vibrant, loving and hardworking single mother. She was an artist with a passion for drawing, photography and singing. She was always there as a helping hand to anyone in need. From volunteering extra hours doing bookkeeping for her clients businesses, to providing care for her friends in hospital at the end of their lives, she always made sure to be there for her friends and family.
