In June, Paul’s life and the lives of those who love him changed forever. What began as a sudden heart issue quickly became a long, unpredictable battle for his life. Since August 19th, Paul has been at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, with only six short days at home in between.

In that time, he has endured heart failure, open-heart surgery to install a heart pump, a brain bleed, a massive heart attack, thrombosis leading to pump failure, two strokes and another surgery.

Through every setback, Paul has faced each day with remarkable courage and faith. Even in the hardest moments, he’s been the loving husband, father, and friend we know him to be, worrying more about his family than himself, and determined to get back home to the people and life he loves.

His wife Cindy has been by his side every step of the way, spending months in the hospital while juggling the emotional, physical, and financial toll this journey has brought. Between lost work time, travel expenses, housing near the hospital, and ongoing medical bills, the financial strain has become overwhelming.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease that burden so Paul and his family can focus fully on his recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, is a blessing helping cover living expenses, hospital costs, and the many challenges that come with long-term care and healing.

The Guilbeault family’s faith in Jesus Christ has remained unwavering through all of this. They continue to trust in His plan and in the love and kindness of others.

If Paul himself, his strength, faith, or story has touched you in any way, please consider donating or sharing this page to spread the word. Your prayers, love, and support mean more than words can express.

Thank you for helping us lift Paul up during this time.
