Help Support Paul Ellis Jackson’s Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Paul Ellis Jackson — a kind, faithful, and much-loved member of the community — is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life.
In June 2022, Paul had what was supposed to be a routine knee replacement surgery. Unfortunately, he developed a serious infection during that first surgery. Over the past two years, he has gone through seven surgeries and even traveled to the Mayo Clinic, doing everything he could to heal. Despite all of his efforts, his doctors have now determined that the best path forward is to amputate his left leg above the knee.
Through it all, Paul’s spirit has stayed strong, lifted by the support of his wonderful partner, Duane, who has been by his side, helping and cheering him on every step of the way.
Now, as Paul prepares for this next step, he’s facing some big expenses. Insurance only covers part of the cost of his prosthetic leg. His home also needs major changes to make it wheelchair accessible, including installing a chair lift for the steps leading up to his front door. He’ll be in a wheelchair for much of the next year as he heals and learns to use his new prosthetic, and he’ll need to purchase a second wheelchair as well.
We’re reaching out to ask for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping Paul move forward. Whether you’re able to give, share this page, or simply keep Paul and Duane in your prayers, your support means the world.
Thank you for being part of Paul’s journey — and for helping him keep moving forward with hope and strength.
