We never imagined we would be writing something like this.

Our beloved Joe has been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, life has changed forever for him and Pat. The future they had planned together has been replaced with hospital visits and heartbreak.

Joe has always been someone who worked hard and provided for his family without hesitation. But now, as his illness progresses, he is no longer able to get about like he used too and Pat is by his side every step of the way, caring for him with so much love and strength. This has left them without an income at a time when they need support the most.

Right now, our only wish is for Joe to be comfortable, to feel safe, and to be surrounded by love. Pat shouldn’t have to carry the weight of financial worry while she’s caring for the person she loves. They deserve the space to spend this time together without the constant fear of how the bills will be paid or how they will manage day to day.

We are asking for help to ease that burden, to help cover essential living costs, provide comfort, and give them the dignity and peace they deserve in this incredibly difficult time.

Joe is more than a diagnosis. He is a husband, a father and grandad, someone who means the world to so many of us. Watching him go through this is heartbreaking beyond words.
