Help Support Pablo’s Journey Back to Health

The Qreitem family and staff at Backyard Grill in Chantilly, VA, are seeking donations to help their long-time friend and coworker in his time of need.

The Qreitem family has employed Pablo throughout multiple establishments, three generations, and four decades. He quickly became a welcome familiar face as locals watched Northern Virginia grow and change. Throughout his career, Pablo has served countless guests who have grown to know him by name. He is a guaranteed recognizable face to past patrons and employees visiting or returning to work. Pablo is a beloved and integral part of the community that has grown from (and with) Backyard since before day one, and currently, he needs our help.

A while ago, Pablo began showing signs that he was not feeling well. After several ER and doctor visits, he received the devastating news that, ultimately, he needs a new liver. Over the past few months, his health began to decline rapidly, and he spent more and more time in the hospital.

Currently, Pablo is under the care of doctors and has an opportunity for a second chance at life. We are holding hope for a positive outcome and are hoping to raise money through GoFundMe donations as well as upcoming fundraising events held at Backyard Grill. The funds raised will help offset growing medical bills and support him during his recovery.
