We are raising funds to help with the medical expenses of our son, who has recently been diagnosed with Klinefelter Syndrome.

Klinefelter Syndrome is a genetic condition that affects males, caused by having an extra X chromosome. This extra X chromosome can affect physical development, learning, and sometimes hormone levels — but symptoms can vary widely from person to person. Klinefelter Syndrome happens by chance — it’s not inherited or caused by anything the parents did. It occurs when a random error during cell division results in an extra X chromosome. This diagnosis has come with 5 long years of challenges for both our son and our family. Since he was 6, we have chased answers and often been told it was something that it's not. He has been in therapy services weekly for the past 4 years. Up until now, we have been able to withstand the financial struggles throughout, but with a new diagnosis and few doctors locally, we will now need to travel out of state for guidance and medical help.

All donations will go to supporting medical needs and travel expenses. Due to the severity of challenges, he will need continued medical support for many years to come. With your assistance, we can help our son receive the specialized care he needs to live his life to the fullest.
