If you’ve ever stepped inside the Bluewater Bay Waffle House and felt like you were being welcomed home, there’s a good chance my mom was the reason. For 27 years, she has been a waitress there — serving not just meals, but love, comfort, and friendship to countless customers who have become like family.

She remembers your orders, your stories, your children, and your joys. She checks on regulars when they don’t show up. She has worked early mornings and holidays with a smile — because caring for people is who she is.

Now, she needs help from the community she has served so faithfully.

❤️ What’s Happening

My mom will soon undergo multiple heart procedures because she not able to handle open heart surgery. Her doctors have told her she’ll need 2–3 months at minimum before she can return to work — and likely longer.

As many know, servers depend heavily on tips to support their families. With no paid medical leave and household responsibilities to maintain, this time away from work puts a heavy financial strain on her.

Why We’re Asking for Help

My mom is strong, proud, and not one to ask for anything. She has spent her life taking care of others — now it’s our turn to take care of her.

We are asking for donations to help with:

• Medical and recovery-related expenses

• Groceries and daily needs during her healing period
