As World War II nears its end, a British Field Marshal must navigate political tension and personal betrayals when a young general's controversial retreat raises suspicions of treason, forcing him to confront the true cost of leadership.

Synopsis

On January 1st, 1945, in a makeshift war room just outside London, Field Marshal Huggins commands a military operation as the Allies push toward victory. However, when General Porter, one of the country's youngest military leaders, orders an unexpected retreat, questions of cowardice, or even treason arise. The arrival of the enigmatic Director Garland, a government official with unknown motives, only adds fuel to the fire.

As Huggins grills Porter over his decision, tensions explode, revealing hidden alliances and moral ambiguities. Garland's meddling suggests a deeper conspiracy, while General Barradale, a military loyalist, warns Porter of the dangerous power games at play. With accusations flying and careers on the line, Huggins must determine if Porter acted out of strategic foresight or disgraceful weakness before it's too late.
