Hello!

The Nest-Harbor child care center is a DCYF licensed facility providing care for infants and toddlers ages birth-2.5 years old. We currently have 16 of our 18 slots filled, some part time, some full time. We have pieced things together, struggled through staffing and have come out of the winter with a wonderful caring crew, happy kids and excitement for the summer!

We have so much potential for growth but our biggest challenge right now is our outside area, we have a small backyard that licensing only allows some kids out at a time because of square footage, and the kids don’t want to split up! Our front yard is HUGE, and just ready to be fenced in with a 4 foot cedar fence that is safe and sturdy for a long time to come!

Brownes home center has graciously looked at our supply list and offered to discount us at employee discount percentage, and my husband and I will put in the work! As many know, childcare doesn’t come with a profit margin that allows for much besides payroll and rent, we have some saved but not all, so, I’m reaching out to ask for help expanding these kiddos outside oasis, so we can enjoy this summer and many more days outside ☀️
