Help Support Our Mum and Dad Through Their Health Battles

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your support, whether that’s through a donation or simply sharing this page with others.

A week before Christmas, my dad suffered two heart attacks and had to undergo emergency quadruple bypass surgery. His recovery was complicated by pericarditis and it has been long and challenging, and he hasn’t been able to return to work since. My mum took on the role of full-time carer but had to return to work herself due to financial stress.

A few months later, mum found a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She had to act fast and recently underwent a double mastectomy. We’ve just received the devastating news that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, and we need to start looking at further treatment options. Which means that she won’t be able to return to work for a while.

Both of my parents are out of work, facing serious health battles and mounting financial stress. They’re doing everything they can to stay strong, but the reality is, they need help.

This isn’t easy to ask and we know times are tough for many, so please don’t feel any pressure. If you’re in a position to contribute, every bit helps more than you know.
