Help support our Mother's Battle Against Lung Cancer

Donation protected
Update April 2nd- My mother is now back home, treatments for my mother's cancer so far haven't been very successful in helping her, she is happy to be home, but still doesn't feel the best, we how await scans to see how radiation is going. Fingers crossed it is working. We love our mother, grandma, sister, friend, daughter, aunt, etc. Please help in any way you can.

Update February/March 2025- My mother has had 2 hospital stays this months. Earlier in the month her heart rate was spiking and dropping and she wasn't having any reactions, so she needed to be monitored and prescribed new meds. Fast forward to Early March 26. 2025, when my mother couldn't feel her legs as she was trying to get up and proceeded to fall and she couldn't feel her legs or get up, she had to be transferred back to the hospital, where they are monitoring her, they have since changed her meds, looked into if any of those new meds contributed and did several scans, along with being told she has an infection (pneumonia) again, although she also started radiation last night. Hoping and praying that she's able to go back home soon and she can overcome all these setbacks. It's been a lot on her for sure. Please if you can donate, plz do. If you want to send cards, gifts, direct message me. I'll send her info your way. Thank you.

Update 2/28/2025- My mother went home in the early afternoon after her hospital stay where she received 2 stents in her lung that was closed off again due to the cancer growing or shifting over her original stent. She is in good spirits overall but a bit fatigued as a result. All the thoughts and prayers have helped. Thank you.

Update 2/26/2025- My mother ended up with an infection about a week which led to her having another bronchoscopy today which led to her finding out the cancer has gotten larger which then led to ending of the procedure and she was sent for another hospital stay, which has now led her back for another procedure tomorrow to re-clean the area of her stent and a possible old stent removal and new stent placed followed by assessing the cancer itself, unsure at this time if this is out patient tomorrow or if she'll need more hospital time. Despite all this mom is in good spirits, can we please just send some more prayers. Thank you! We love you Mother.

Update 2/9/2025- Happy 66th Birthday Mom. We all love you. Let's celebrate my mother's birthday today.

Update 2/7/2025- Mom is in better spirits, her Birthday is approaching on Feb 9th and she still is going through her chemotherapy and immunotherapy but aside from pains/discomfort due to chemo, she's in great spirits.

Update 1/24/25-- recently we had a few blips with donations not posting, but it appears to be working now. So please keep donating, try again if needed, I apologize, it was taking time to process some payments and may have even refunded and or rejected some. Anything helps. Thx.

Hello Everybody,

I am here to share the story of my (our) mother Pam. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer around Thanksgiving 2024. After not feeling well for some time, she had to have a port put in on Christmas Eve 2024, followed by her first chemo session the day after Christmas 2024. Three days after, she got very sick, and her oxygen levels dropped, and her white blood cell count was super low, leading to an ER visit, which was very scary. She was having trouble breathing without the assistance of a BiPAP and nasal cannula. It was very touch and go for the first few days. On that Monday, we were told she would need a stent placed to open her airway as the cancer was closing her airway. However, that couldn't happen for three days. So, that Thursday, we met the specialist handling her procedure, and it was successful. She spent a total of seven days in the hospital.

This cancer journey has been a major hurdle as it impacts her everyday life. She's fatigued, weaker, and can't work at this time. My sisters and I want to make sure she's able to pay her bills and medical expenses as this will be a long journey with hurdles along the way. So, anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Our mother means the world to us, and we know that others out there are caring, giving, and compassionate. Anything helps.
