Our beautiful mother, Connie, is in the fight of her life battling an aggressive form of cancer with incredible strength and grace. She's been in and out of the hospital numerous times, dealing with many long nights and tough medication schedules that leave her exhausted. She has endured an extensive 6+ hour surgery to remove a huge portion of the cancer, and has had several surgical procedures to continue her fight to overcome the remaining cancer, or deal with cancer side effects. Through it all, her husband, David, has been by her side every step of the way. This means missing a great deal of work to be with her at every appointment, every treatment and throughout the long nights at home.

As you can imagine, the financial strain has become overwhelming. Between the medical bills, out of pocket treatments and medications, gas, parking, travel to and from the hospital and appointments, on top of the everyday household bills, and loss of income from missed work, it's more than we can handle alone. Anything you're able to give, whether $5, $50, or just spreading the word through sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to us. Every contribution lifts some of the burden so that we can all focus on what matters most which is her health, comfort and our time together.
