Help Support our Mission to Haiti
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
St. Joseph Parish, Kingston, supports Haiti 180 through a 501C3 organization, Movin’ with the Spirit (MWTS). September 18 - 23, 2017, we will be traveling with a group of missionaries to the villages of Dan Dann & Duverger, Haiti, about 80 miles from Port au Prince to assist the villagers in the ongoing work which began in 2007. Progress to date with this organization includes:
-The Orphanage, named Kay Mari, which currently houses 35 children, 4 of which have significant disabilities.
-A beautiful Chapel which is an important part of the Catholic Mission of Kay Mari.
-A large school in Dan Dann which educates hundreds of local children.
-Two elderly homes which provide housing for 20 elderly people.
-A large well and water storage container which provides clean drinking water for the orphanage addressing one of the most difficult needs in Haiti.
Additionally, the missionaries make home visits to pray with the local families, provide short term solutions to any food, clothing, and water shortages, and where medical professionals help address medical conditions.
Please consider helping to fund this mission trip to Haiti, in support of this amazing organization. Haiti 180 is changing lives in a powerful way, and the experience of the mission is transformative! You can share in the experience, whether by your donation or by your prayers (or, preferably, by both).
If you decide that you do wish to support the Mission, please know that Haiti 180 is a tax exempt non-profit organization (501c3) and its associated tax ID # is 06-1579880. Many of you friends also are employed by companies that have programs that would match your generous donations.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
