Hello dear friends and family. I'm starting a GoFundMe to help our sweet cat Felipe. About a week ago, we noticed some blood in his urine and he was diagnosed with a UTI. He got started on some antibiotics, but last night after work, Marcelle found him howling in pain and unable to pee and dripping blood. He has a very painful blockage in his urethra. This is a life-threatening condition, so Marcelle rushed him to the Vet ER. They are admitting him to the hospital for an emergency treatment to get a catheter and try to unblock it. The emergency procedure, medications and the following days of monitoring him there is going to be very expensive (around $8k) and we will need help with the upcoming medical bills. We adopted Felipe almost 8 years ago and he quickly became the centerpiece of our little family. He is one of the most important beings in our lives and the closest thing we have to a child together. We desperately want him to be able to recover from this surgery and go back to being the happy furry light of our lives! Any little help at all is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
