Hi, I’m Jeff Pantukhoff, president & founder of The Whaleman Foundation, and I’m raising funds to support our critical research and conservation work on Maui. Our mission is to forever preserve and protect cetaceans—dolphins, whales, and porpoises—and their critical habitats is vital for the health of our oceans and our planet. Together, we can make a difference!
It has been two years since I lost my Lahaina home and the headquarters for The Whaleman Foundation to the devastating wild fire, but that has not stopped our important work here on Maui. This will be my 32nd consecutive year doing humpback whale research here and your generous donations will help us continue our essential work, including:
- Conducting vital research to monitor the health of cetacean populations and their habitats.
- Implementing conservation programs that protect these magnificent creatures from threats like entanglement in fishing gear, pollution and climate change.
