Help Support our Hero Lennie, The Seeing Eye Dog

This Go Fund Me is for my Aunt and Uncle, Jenn and Adam Noble. Jenn has two guide dogs, one retired, Lennie, and one working, Forrest. Lennie was recently diagnosed with glaucoma in his right eye, and the costs associated with his care have increased emensely as he also has arthritis. The pressure in his eye keeps increasing, even with daily treatments.

The next steps in Lennie’s journey include a consult with an ophthalmologist to determine best actions for his eye. Jenn and Adam currently do not have pet insurance, and the cost of this emergency consult and potential injection along with further testing is very prohibitive. While Lennie is an older dog, he is still very much full of life. Jenn and Adam are fearful that they will need to surrender him or put him down if they can’t afford these vet bills, and the vet does not recommend this as he is still very full of life.

Some of Lennie’s favorite activities include playing outside, and horsing around with his younger brother. He may have retired his harness, but now pursues his true calling as a four-legged food critic who believes the best way to judge a meal is by taste testing it straight from your plate. I don’t want my Aunt and Uncle to have to say goodbye to Lennie and as he is Jenn’s first guide dog he means so much to them and our family. Jenn and Lennie worked as a team for over 7 years. They traveled to work together everyday, and went on vacations. Lennie was also a part of Jenn and Adam’s wedding as the “ring dog”. I know this is a tough time for everyone, but any help you can offer Lennie, would be much appreciated by our entire family.
