Supporting a Mother's Journey to Heal

Mayerlyn, their beloved mother, has been in the hospital for the past three weeks, fighting to recover from multiple strokes. Her journey to regain her health has been difficult, and we are reaching out to you, our community, to lend a helping hand.

Mayerlyn's strokes have left her in a vulnerable state, requiring extensive medical care and support. As a result, she is still hospitalized so she can no longer work, and her family's finances have been stretched to the limit. In fact, their father had to take unpaid time off from work to provide much-needed assistance during Mayerlyn's hospital stay. The mounting medical bills, combined with the strain on their income, have made it increasingly challenging for them to meet essential expenses not covered by insurance.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to rally together and raise $10,000 in support of Mayerlyn's recovery. The funds raised will be allocated toward the following critical aspects of her healing journey:

1) Medication: Mayerlyn requires vital medications for her ongoing recovery. Unfortunately, these medications are not covered by insurance, and the cost amounts to approximately $400 per month. Our goal is to ensure Mayerlyn has access to these medications for the next six months, supporting her healing process.

2) Physical Therapy and Transportation: Regular physical therapy sessions are crucial for Mayerlyn's rehabilitation. Additionally, the cost of transportation to and from these sessions adds an extra burden on the family. Furthermore, due to mobility issues, a new bed is required to provide her with the necessary comfort and support.
