Help support our father battling stage 3 colon cancer

Hi, my name is Christina, and even though my father is going to hate that I created this GoFundMe, I’m reaching out to all my friends, family, and anyone else I know for my amazing father, Chris. Recently, our world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He’s currently undergoing aggressive treatment, including 5 months chemotherapy through a PICC line to shrink the tumor and 5 weeks radiation therapy before they can do surgery. The effects have been physically and emotionally overwhelming. Due to his condition, he cannot lift more than 7 pounds and, unfortunately, can no longer work. His wife is doing everything she can to keep them afloat, working tirelessly, but her income just isn’t enough to cover the mounting medical bills, household expenses, and basic living needs. Now, they’re facing the heartbreaking possibility of having to sell their home just to survive. If you know my dad, you know he’s kind, humble, generous, and never asks for anything. He’s the kind of person who shows up for everyone else. Now we’re asking for help to show up for him. He’s a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and has so much to live for. Music has always been his passion — he loves playing the guitar and creating music, something that brings him peace during this incredibly difficult time.
