In the space of just six months, our family has experienced a tragedy that no parent should ever endure. In September, we lost Ryan, at 20 years old. And on late Thursday night before Good Friday, we've just lost his brother Leroy, at 23 years old, in a motorbike accident.
They were the two sons of our uncle, Paul, and their mother, Leanne. They were brothers, sons, cousins, and cherished members of our family.
Leroy was a free spirit who loved anything that could get him into trouble, and he did it all with a smile on his face. He loved his dogs, his mates, and his family. But his real passion? His motorbike, and he lived every day like an adventure. Those who knew him will remember his infectious energy and his ability to turn an ordinary day into a story worth telling.
Ryan was the quiet adventurer. He'd rather be out working in the middle of nowhere than anywhere near civilisation, and he loved it that way. Bull riding was his passion, and the kind of wild, fearless pursuit that defined him. His car (and the multiple tyres he went through) was his faithful companions on those long drive, but beneath that independent spirit was a young man deeply loved by his family and friends.
Paul, Jay, Leanne are facing overwhelming costs right now, funeral expenses for Leroy, while still processing the loss of Ryan just six months ago. They are struggling to keep up with bills and basic living expenses as they grieve two sons.
As a family, we want to make sure they aren’t left in financial crisis while dealing with this devastation. They need support to get through this, not just emotionally, but practically.
A Message From Our Family:
We're so grateful for your kindness, prayers, and support during this unbearable time. If you can't donate, please share this with others. Your compassion means everything to us.
In loving memory of Leroy and Ryan x
