Saturday night early Sunday morning my family was hit with a heart break,Nick was admitted into the hospital with stage 4 cirrhosis of liver and they say liver transplant is the only survival route/ option  we have and that they want to take. His  blood platelet levels are really low so he has received a platelet transfusions to help with  bleed outs inside his stomach due to enlarges veins bursting from the liver not functioning/filtering properly,as well as numerous rounds of electrolytes, magnesium, vitamins etc to keep him stable and control the bleeding. His liver is very inflamed so they want to start him on a 7 day dose of steroids to help uninflame the liver and try to replenish it as much as possible but during those seven days he has to be hospitalized and monitored and if the liver doesn't take to the steroids he will be transferred to Loma Linda for a liver transplant which could take up to 6months to even be qualified. He is the rock to our family and was the only income due to having our newborn daugtder who was born on the 10th of this month. We have a very long and hard road/recovery infront of us but we are determined and will over come this. We are asking for any support and help so we can keep up with our bills and help with transportation if need be he's transferred to Loma linda. If you know Nick you know how big hearted he is ,he's always willing to lend a helping hand and anything anyone can do is greatly appreciated.
