Hi my name is Aliza and I’m the oldest sister of 6 creating this go fund me.  If you know our family, you know we always find a way to figure things out, but this one is challenging. Before Thanksgiving, our mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, and if you know her, you know that didn’t stop her. No big announcements—just preparation and keeping her village informed.

Our dad, my siblings, and I have been doing everything we can to hold things down. Fast forward to Monday, January 27th—her surgery was scheduled, and everything seemed to go as planned… until suddenly, it took a terrifying left turn. Our mom was rushed back to the hospital with complications, she could not breathe on her own & had to be intubated and was told she was lucky she made it that night and underwent another emergency surgery.

This past week has been the scariest moment of our lives. We still have a long road ahead, and while we are doing everything we can, the reality is sinking in—this fight is far from over. She will still be needing another surgery as well after all of this along with radiation treatment.

Most of you know our dad is an owner-operator, which means if he doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid. He would never ask for help, but we see the stress weighing on him. Juggling being there for his wife and kids while also trying to make ends meet is an impossible burden. The last thing he should be worrying about right now is money.

We never could have prepared for this, but we’re asking for your help on behalf of our mom, our dad, and our entire family. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will help relieve the financial burden so our dad can focus on what truly matters—being by our mom’s side and supporting our family through this.
