My family is going through something we never imagined we’d face. My sister-in-law has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She is fighting with everything she has, but the reality is that this journey has taken a tremendous emotional, physical, and financial toll.

Chemotherapy is incredibly hard on her body. Some days she simply isn’t able to drive, and other days she is too sick to safely get behind the wheel. Her treatments are an hour and a half away, and because she can’t consistently make the drive herself, her husband has to take off work to take her to every appointment. While he never hesitates to be by her side, the lost income has put an enormous strain on their household.

On top of medical bills not covered by insurance, their everyday expenses continue to pile up. With so much of their time, energy, and resources being poured into treatment and caring for her, their home has begun falling into disrepair, things they normally would keep up with have simply become overwhelming under the weight of this battle.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that pressure.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

-Medical bills not covered by insurance

-Monthly household bills

-Travel expenses for treatment

-Repairs and upkeep needed to keep their home safe and livable

-Anything else needed to support her comfort and care during chemotherapy

Our family is doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone. If you’re able to donate, share, or simply keep them in your thoughts and prayers, it means more than words can express.
