Hi everyone,

Our dear father, Neil, has had a pacemaker for a number of years now but the battery is about to expire which will put his life at risk. He has been advised that this surgery needs to take place by February 2026. We were aware that a replacement was inevitable, but it has caught up with us somewhat more rapidly than expected.

We are doing what we can as a family, but due to the prices we have been quoted so far, will find it difficult to raise the required amount in time on our own. Unfortunately, he does not have any medical insurance as he lives in Mozambique and is retired.

My sisters and I are appealing to anyone who feels they could assist by contributing towards our Dad’s medical costs for this surgery. Every little bit would help.
