Hi, our names are Anna, Cheryl, David and James

and we are fundraising for our dad. On July 9, 2025 our dad was involved in a horrific lawn mowing accident while helping a neighbour mow their lawn. The riding lawnmower flipped on him causing catastrophic injuries that led to him being rushed to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary undergoing emergency surgery. Doctors were forced to remove his C5 vertebrae with the injury leaving him quadriplegic. He is currently in the ICU fighting for his life and unable to breathe on his own. Our parents have been married for 49 years and our mom is doing everything she can to be by his side everyday. The emotional and financial toll of travelling back and forth to Calgary from Taber along with mounting medical and associated costs is overwhelming. We are asking for help to support the following:

• Out of pocket medical expenses and equipment,
• Future accessibility needs and future-care support as we navigate this new reality and,
• Travel costs, lodging and food so our mom can be with her husband during this critical time.
