UPDATE:
We are now home with Onyx and beginning our journey to healing as new parents. We are both pretty shaken up by the situation and have found some specialists to deal with birth trauma, medical negligence and the physical setbacks Whitney is experiencing. Said is back at work but Whitney is taking some time, as her C-Section isn't healing as planned. We hope things improve steadily.
On March 26th, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that suffered from severe birth complications. She was immediately transported to a hospital NICU unit and put on intensive care, due to issues related to her lungs that have persisted. She is fighting off pneumonia and is making strides but has a long way to go. All funds from this fundraiser will be used to support her care and help bring her home as soon as possible. We are grateful for any donation, as every bit counts.
